This application is part of the project "Marketing Activities for the Promotion of Syrian Cultural Heritage", whose overall objective is to support the Syrian Ministry of Tourism and Culture in promoting Syria as a cultural tourist destination.

The texts are based on an interview to Archaeologist Amr al-Azm, former director of conservation for the Directorate General for Antiquities and Museums in Syria and current head of the Centre for Archaeological Research and Scientific Laboratories at Damascus University and to Jean Pierre Sodini, professor at the Université Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne and senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France.

The texts were revised and re-edited by Babelmed Association and the Politecnico di Milano's team. The development and implementation of the application were managed by HOC Laboratory (Politecnico di Milano).
