The thermal baths
Several thermal baths were brought to light in Palmyra. But the most important are the Zenobia’s, also called Palmyra thermal baths or, in the following period, the thermal baths of Diocletian. What makes these thermal baths particular is the fact that they are surrounded by columns made of Egyptian granite of Aswan.
